WIPO for Creators: Launch of the CLIP Platform on November 17th

Mostar, October 30, 2023 - The CLIP (Creators Learn Intellectual Property) platform will be launched on November 17, 2023 as part of WIPO for Creators, a public-private partnership initiated by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Music Rights Awareness Foundation.

CLIP is an innovative platform dedicated to explaining creators' rights and management practices, ultimately ensuring that creators receive the recognition and compensation they deserve, WIPO said.

On the occasion of the CLIP platform launch, a special event will be held in Geneva and online on November 17, 2023, starting at 17:00, hosted by WIPO Director General Daren Tang and co-founder of the Music Rights Awareness Foundation and legendary ABBA star Björn Ulvaeus, as well as Niclas Molinder, when the CLIP platform will be presented to creators around the world.

"The first release of CLIP will focus on the music industry. You will learn about the industry’s ecosystem, all the people involved in getting a song to market, the various music creator rights and how they are managed, and much more, so that you get credited and paid when your songs are used," WIPO announced.
