Institute participated in the conference and fair of women's entrepreneurship in the Republic of Srpska
Mostar, October 30, 2023 - Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, participated in the 6th Conference and the 3rd Women's Entrepreneurship Fair in the Republic of Srpska, which were held on October 27, 2023 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce in Banja Luka.
Products and services were presented by 23 companies from different sectors of the economy, such as the food industry, the production of wine and alcoholic beverages, the production of juices, the production of packaging and packaging products, the textile industry, the furniture industry, tourist services, and services for space planning and decoration. cosmetic products, the graphic industry, as well as advanced products such as the "smart" solar-powered bench.
As part of the fair, the Institute had a special stand, where visitors could get a comprehensive overview of the Institute's activities and all information on the protection of intellectual property rights, as well as information related to the intellectual property pre-diagnostics service, intended for companies that want a free assessment of the current situation and creation of recommendation for the protection of intellectual property. As part of the Conference and program of the European Network of Entrepreneurship, bilateral discussions of registered participants were organized, in which a representative of the Institute also participated.
Given that the World Intellectual Property Organization has dedicated this year to the theme "Women and Intellectual Property: Accelerating innovation and creativity", this was an exceptional opportunity for the female entrepreneurship segment to learn about the importance of intellectual property protection in today's business environment, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of its protection.
Visit to Banja Luka was also used so that a representative of the Institute visited the company Elas metalexpert d.o.o. , and personally delivered a report on the intellectual property pre-diagnostics to the company representatives.
