Two-day seminar "Intellectual Property for Business Entities" held in Banja Luka

Two-day seminar "Intellectual Property for Business Entities" was held on July 4 and 5, 2024 at the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka, organized by the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH and the project "EU Support to Intellectual Property Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina".

On the first day of the seminar, the Intellectual Property Pre-Diagnostics team of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH held lectures to the seminar participants, while on the second day of the seminar, lectures were held by experts from the Project. The seminar was rated as a success because numerous participants of the seminar, from the economy, state administration, the academic community and the legal profession, actively participated and asked a lot of questions to which the representatives of the Institute and the Project gave answers.  

The seminar covered topics such as patent, trademark and industrial design protection, intellectual property pre-diagnostics, protection of copyrighted works in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially works created in employment, international patent protection – PCT and Euro PCT applications and procedure, intellectual property protection in the gaming industry, and "Artificial intelligence – a challenge and temptation for intellectual property".
