Lecture on intellectual property protection held at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering "Salih – Salko Ćurić" in Mostar

It is the first high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina that is involved in activities aimed at raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property, which are carried out by the Institute in cooperation with educational institutions

Mostar, August 15, 2024 – Organized by the Public Institution Secondary School of Electrical Engineering "Salih – Salko Ćurić" Mostar, and in cooperation with the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Senior Expert Associate for Patents Dragana Marić Mešić held a lecture on Thursday, August 15, 2024, on the topic of intellectual property protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on patent protection of innovations and patent information. 

The lecture was intended for all professors, and the goal was to get acquainted with the types of intellectual property, protection procedures and patent databases. 

The Pedagogical Institute Mostar declared this high school the most successful in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the City of Mostar in the school year 2023/2024 based on the results achieved in cantonal competitions. There are many sections within the school, of which the Innovator Section has achieved notable results in innovation exhibitions in its work so far. 

The Public Institution Secondary School of Electrical Engineering "Salih – Salko Ćurić" is the first high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina that is involved in activities aimed at raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property, which are carried out by the Institute in cooperation with educational institutions.
