Notice of Professional Exam for Industrial Property Protection Representatives

Mostar, August 23, 2024 - Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina announces that the written and oral part of the professional exam for industrial property protection representatives will be held in Mostar during the month of December 2024.

Registered candidates will be informed in writing about the exact date, time and place of the exam in question.

Interested persons are hereby informed that they can submit an application for taking the professional exam to the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kneza Domagoja bb, 88000 Mostar, by 20 September 2024.

Application for professional exam is submitted in writing and includes: name and surname, occupation and address of the applicant (preferably contact phone, fax or e-mail) and personal identification number of the applicant, proof of graduation from the faculty (certified copy of the diploma), and an indication of the professional exam for which the application is submitted (exam for patent attorney or trademark attorney).

An administrative fee in the amount of BAM 200.00 and a fee of special costs of the procedure in the amount of BAM 400.00 shall be paid for taking the professional exam. Proof of payment shall be submitted no later than by taking the exam. The Instruction on the manner of payment of the administrative fee and special costs of the procedure shall be submitted to the applicants by the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Exam for industrial property protection representatives is conducted in accordance with the Rulebook on Professional Exam for Industrial Property Protection Representatives (Official Gazette of BiH, 22/11, 14/13, 36/16 and 12/20). Rulebook is available on Institute's website: www.ipr.gov.ba.
